RVA Sinhala

Effective 24 February 2013 Radio Veritas Asia,Manila is introducing a new freq 9810kHz replacing 15460 kHz in Sinhala  at 0000-0027 hrs in parallel to 11855 kHz. This replacement is necessary due to propagation on 15 MHz band.

R.Veritas changes

Due to cochannel interference from Romania, Radio Veritas Asia is changing evening frequency for South Asia in Hindi at 1330-1400 and Bengali at 1400-1427 hrs effective 27th January 2013. The new freq is 11915 kHz replacing 11870 kHz and is valid till 30th March 2013.

Also Morning Tamil service is also moving to 11855 kHz replacing 11935kHz(due to cochannel interference from CRI) at 0030-0057 hrs from the same day.

A12-R.Veritas Asia

2 new frequencies are to be introduced by Radio Veritas Asia in A12, starting 25th March. Telegu at 1430-1500 hrs will be on 11750 kHz (replacing 9515) and Chin for N.E.India at 1430-1500 hrs on 11870 kHz(replacing 9620 kHz).

RVA Changes from 13th Nov

In order to improve reception in the target areas Radio Veritas Asia is going to change the following as from 13th November 2011 :
Sinhala - 11850 to 11855 0000-0027 UTC
Hindi - 11850 to 15280 0030-0057 UTC
Bengali - 11710 to 15265 0030-0057 UTC

R.Veritas New Freqs from 15 May

In order to improve reception the following changes are effective 15th May 2011 for Radio Veritas Asia :

Sinhala 0000-0027 9720 kHz -> 9670 kHz
Bengali 0030-0057 11945 kHz -> 11710 kHz
Urdu 1430-1457 15435 kHz -> 15260 kHz via Vatican R.
Chin 1430-1500 9620 kHz -> 9535 kHz

Also Filipino to ME 1500-1553 kHz on 15280 kHz(replacing 15350 kHz via Vatican R.

New Freq for RVA Sinhala Hindi

Due to cochannel and/or side channel splash Radio Veritas Asia is changing their frequencies effective Sunday 22nd November 2010. These are :
Sinhala 0000-0027 9720 kHz (ex-9865) in parallel to 11730 kHz.
Hindi 0030-0057 11730 kHz (ex-11710 kHz).
Chin 0130-0157 15255 kHz (ex-15520 kHz).

New freq for RVA Telugu

In Order to avoid interference to AIR GOS in English on 9690 kHz Radio Veritas Asia is to move on to 9515 kHz(replacing 9685 kHz) at 1430-1457 in Telugu with effect from 4th April 2010.
